2. HOTELS - HOW CAN I BOOK A ROOM FOR THE FESTIVAL?
You will be able to book a room at the main VENUE (Sangate Hotel) and at the 4* Hotel Airport Okecie (300 m from the venue) via our website registration form HERE
SANGATE HOTEL does not have single rooms available. If you need a single room we recommend Hotel AIRPORT OKECIE (number of single rooms is very limited)
At SANGATE HOTEL a minimum stay of 3 nights is required.

3. VENUE - CAN I PAY IN EUR or USD or CREDIT CARD at the festival?
At the festival office pass purchase will be possible only CASH in PLN or EUR will be accepted.
To get food and drinks you pay with tokens available by cash or credit card at separate stands.
Forms of payment accepted by vendors (shoes, clothes and other stands) depend on each vendor separately.
There is an ATM in front of the hotel and 2 more a 4-minute walk distance from the hotel.
There is no possibility to exchange money at the hotel or at the festival office.
4. TICKETS - HOW TO CHOOSE A PASS TYPE?

VIP PASS option is highly recommended, as it includes all regular workshops (apart from the Bootcamps and Labs, subject to separate tickets for each) and all festival parties (entrance to all dancefloors, concerts and evening shows)
If you are interested only in a particular dance style you choose from SALSA PASS, SENSUAL PASS and CUBAN PASS option with access limited only to selected workshop rooms. We usually have 3-4 SALSA ROOMs, 3 SENSUAL ROOMs and 3 CUBAN ROOMs with a variety of workshops to choose.

PARTY PASS is an economic solution for all participants who wish to join the parties (it includes all 4 festival parties together with any live concerts planned and a show programme)
BEGINNER PASS is a pass for a special set of BASIC workshops for complete beginners. It appears in the offer usually around July. It includes 10-15 beginner workshops of various styles. In the option with parties it additionally includes Party Pass with reduced price.
Closer to the event a DAY PASS option will be added, which includes all workshops and a party during one selected festival day (an equivalent of 1-day- VIP PASS)
Entrance to separate parties (including any concerts scheduled) will be possible with separate party tickets: THURSDAY/FRIDAY/SATURDAY/SUNDAY PARTY. These will be sold also closer to the event if the allowed number of participants is not exceeded.
5. PROGRAMME - WHAT IS A BOOTCAMP PASS AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE ?
BOOTCAMP is a special, separate, challenging type of classes for demanding dancers: it includes 6-10 hours of intensive training of a particular style.
PERFORMANCE BOOTCAMPs include training combined with rehearsals, concluded with a live performance on the festival stage. It means dynamic work and an awesome practice of memorizing choreography.
TECHNIQUE BOOTCAMPs are focused on improving technical skills and style and they do not include live performance.

6. PROGRAMME - WHAT IS A LAB PASS?
LAB is a new formula in El Sol Warsaw Salsa Festival workshop schedule. It contains a 3-hour programme of progressive learning of one dance style technique. The programme of the LAB is prepared by each instructor exclusively for this particular event. The LAB workshop is given on intermediate/advanced level. Check the detailed description of the LAB of your choice to see if its level and description suits you.
LAB PASS includes LAB ONLY (no other workshops, no festival parties). This lets you combine it with any workshop pass of your choice (VIP, SALSA, CUBAN, SENSUAL) or PARTY PASS.
The LAB PASS is independent from other passes. You are not obliged to have any other pass to be able to purchase and use the LAB PASS.
The number of participants of each LAB is limited. If you don’t see the LAB among the options of passes to choose in the registration form, that means it is sold out.
7. TICKETS - HOW TO REGISTER AND BUY A FESTIVAL PASS ONLINE?
You can buy all passes via online registration and payment form, available HERE
The system request registration data and then transfers you to DotPay payment operator, where immediate payment is required by one of the available channels, like bank transfer or credit card. You should proceed exactly according to indications received. In case of some banks the system requests a bank transfer with a very specific title which should not be altered.
Once the payment is accepted by DotPay system, an ETICKET is sent automatically to the email address given at the registration.
You should get two email messages:
- from DotPay, firstname.lastname@example.org confirming your successful payment
- from registration(at)salsafestival.pl with a personal ETICKET attached (message title: ESSF 2018 – Event ticket)
ATTENTION! If your registration and payment process is interrupted or paused at any stage, you’ll have to repeat it to complete it.
Please pay attention if the email you register is spelled correctly, otherwise the system will have no possibility to send you the ticket.
If after your successful transaction you do not get an email with the ticket – please get in touch with us as soon as possible at email@example.com and let us help you! Don’t wait until the last moment: the closer the event, the harder it is for us to react quickly to any of your requests.
Before contacting us please make sure that the ticket is not stuck in any of the subfolders of your email box (like Offers, Spam).
8. TICKETS - HOW CAN I GET A DISCOUNT?
We do not have discounts to individual participants.
To get a GROUP discount on the level of 10% you need to join an organized discount group or create your own group and become our official Ambassador.
You just need to make sure you will be able to gather at least 10 people who wish to buy a festival pass of any type (Party Pass, Bootcamp Pass, all workshop passes and Day Passes) and write to: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will send you the current rules and regulations of group purchase and cooperation and as soon as you accept them, you’ll be given promo codes for your group.
The bigger the group, the more benefits you can get as the Ambassador. We’ll be happy to reward the group Leaders for good cooperation.
9. TICKETS - I HAVE A DISCOUNT CODE. WHAT NOW?
Please note, that each discount group has a separate set of codes and that each pass type requires a different promo code. To use the discount you need to ask the Ambassador of the group you are joining:
- the GROUP NAME
- the current PROMO CODE for the pass type of your choice
- Go to https://salsafestival.pl/en/payment/
- choose your pass from the list
- insert the group name in the GROUP NAME field
- insert the promo code in the DISCOUNT COUPON field
- fill in the form with your personal data according to the data from your ID and proceed to the payment
- make the payment and wait for your ETICKET
The only legal way of getting a code is a direct contact with the Ambassador whose group you decide to join.
By using a group promo code you automatically agree that limited details of your transaction (name, surname, pass type, date of purchase) are made available to the Ambassador leading the group you joined. This access is provided only until the end of ticket sales for each particular edition of the event.
10. TICKETS - WHY THE DISCOUNT PROMO CODE I GOT IS NOT WORKING?
Please note, that each discount group has a separate set of codes and that each pass type requires a different promo code.
Make sure that the code you are using is current, got directly from the Ambassador/Promoter (otherwise it may be not valid or expired) and that it is for the type of pass you are trying to buy.
In the GROUP NAME field you insert only the name of the discount group.
In the DISCOUNT COUPON field you insert only a numerical code in the following format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Please double check if there are no typos or additional space introduced.
If none of the above tips helps, please contact the Ambassador who will solve the issue with us directly.
11. TICKETS - IS IT ENOUGH TO HAVE AN ID TO GET INTO THE FESTIVAL?
To enter the festival you need to show your personal ETICKET (on your mobile device or printed on paper) and an ID confirming personal data on the ETICKET.
An ID without an ETICKET is not enough to enter.
You will then receive a festival BRACELET – WRISTBAND, that you are obliged to wear during the whole event with no exceptions.
You are not allowed to pick up a wristband for somebody else.
ATTENTION! In case of organized groups, the rules of getting your wristbands may be different. If you are a member of an organized group, please ask your GROUP LEADER – AMBASSADOR how you should get your wristband.
12. TICKETS - WHAT SHALL I DO IF AFTER ONLINE REGISTRATION I DON’T GET MY PASS?
Your registration is COMPLETE if:
- the form is filled with all data required
- the payment procedure is finished and the money transfer is complete
- the personal ticket comes to your email given at registration (a pdf attached)
If after your registration you haven’t received your ticket, this might mean that:
– Your transaction has not been finished and the system has not received information about the money income and therefore the ticket could not be sent
– during your registration process you made a spelling mistake in your email address and it was not possible to send you the confirmation and the ticket
– you have received the email with the ticket, but it landed in one of your subfolders or SPAM folder.
If you haven’t found the ticket in your subfolders and the money you paid and you see that your credit card/account has been successfully charged, etc. please write to email@example.com to solve the problem.
If your transaction is UNSUCCESSFUL and you do not know the reason (for example: you are using a card that works with other services, you haven’t used the money limit, your card is active for internet payments etc.) please contact the payment operator DotPay at firstname.lastname@example.org for help and explanation as the salsafestival team has no access to technical details of your transaction due to transaction data protection.
13. TICKETS - I BOUGHT A TICKET AND THEN I LOST IT. CAN YOU HELP?
Please write to email@example.com from the email you used at the original registration process and send us details on the pass bought, approximate moment of purchase etc.
Please get in touch with us as soon as possible and let us help you! Don’t wait until the last moment: the closer the event, the harder it is for us to react quickly to any of your requests. The last days before the event we are usually OFFLINE so no emails will be answered then.
14. TICKETS - CAN I GIVE OR SELL MY PASS TO ANYONE?
Festival passes are personal and at the entrance we will check them with your ID. In order to resell / give your pass to another person, according to our Terms and Conditions available here, you need to notify the change to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and make an additional payment, if necessary, according to the instructions given. A new pass owner will receive a new ticket with his/her name on it.
The reselling process (together with additional payment, if applicable) has to be completed by November 1st 2018. After that deadline no notifications of changes will be accepted, regardless of the circumstances (emergencies included).
15. TICKETS - IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUY A PASS AT THE FESTIVAL OFFICE DURING THE EVENT?
During the event all types of regular passes (VIP PASS, PARTY PASS, SENSUAL PASS, CUBAN PASS, SALSA PASS, also DAY PASSes) will be available, but the prices will be significantly higher than in presale.
In exceptional cases, if the number of participants exceeds the allowable limits, we may be forced to close the sales of passes or tickets to separate parties, that is why we highly recommend to buy them earlier in online presale (until 4th November, 2018)
At the festival office only CASH PAYMENTS are accepted, in PLN and in EUR.
16. TICKETS - I CAN’T PARTICIPATE IN THE FESTIVAL. HOW CAN I RETURN THE TICKET?
Return and reimbursement of your pass is only possible within 14 days from the purchase date. If you decide to return your pass within 14 days it is enough to notify this fact to email@example.com by sending the data of the ticket you wish to return. You can only order this reimbursement by writing from the email address used at the purchase.
After 14 days from your purchase it is no longer possible to return the ticket. It is also applicable to all extraordinary unpredictable situations, emergencies, etc. In such case you can resell your pass according to the rules given in Terms & Conditions.
IMPORTANT: Passes purchased later than October 25th, 2018 may be reported for return only until November 8th 2018. By picking up your wristband at the festival office you automatically block the possibility to return the ticket.
17. TICKETS - HOW CAN I RECEIVE AN INVOICE/ CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT?
In order to receive a payment confirmation you should notify this straight after your purchase, by sending to firstname.lastname@example.org the data for invoicing and information about your transaction (date of purchase, type of pass, participant’s name).
The standard option is an electronic invoice. If you need a paper invoice please add this information in your message and add the postal address for invoice sending.
If your pass was not bought directly from us, please ask the seller to issue your invoice.
18. PROGRAMME - WHAT IS STARGATE SHOW?
Stargate Show is a dance competition for amateurs that wish to try their hand on festival stage in front of professional jury.
The competition is held in the festival Venue during Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunch breaks. The winner of each category has a privilege to perform again during the night shows.
You can watch the Stargate Shows without any additional fees if you are a holder of VIP PASS, SENSUAL PASS, CUBAN PASS, SALSA PASS, BEGINNERS PASS and DAY PASS (on one particular day). For others single entrance tickets will be available.

19. VENDORS - IS IT POSSIBLE TO SELL MY PRODUCTS DURING THE EVENT?
Each year we have vendors from different countries offering products attractive to our participants, mostly dance shoes, dancewear and sportswear. If you wish to join them, write to email@example.com to get more details.
Please note, that due to continuous cooperation that we have with several vendors, the space available for new partners is limited.
20. PROMOTING - I WANT TO PROMOTE MY DANCE EVENT ON YOUR FESTIVAL. WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS?
We have several options for dance event organizers.
You can purchase different promo packages including: flyers, roll-ups, an add in the festival folder, promo video on our screen and others. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to agree on details and conditions of your promotion.
Any promo materials displayed at the festival venue and not previously accepted by the organizer will be immediately removed. Any promo actions planned to be done on our event also need to be agreed in advance.
